Division of Biostatistics - Karolinska Institutet

History & Mission

The Division of Biostatistics was established at Karolinska Institutet, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2010. Its offices are located at the Institute of Environmental Medicine. It aims to contribute toward solving health problems and disseminating knowledge and culture of biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet and worldwide. Research supervision, teaching, and presentations to statistical and non-statistical audiences are an essential part of its mission.

Biostatistics Core Facility

The Division of Biostatistics is responsible for the Karolinska Institutet Biostatistics Core Facility, which provides statistical collaboration to researchers in Stockholm and worldwide with support from Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm County Council.
